We’ve been making these cupcake liner fortune cookies, for several years. They are usually filled with funny fortunes, but I thought it’d be fun to mix it up this year and offer a fun little adventure for the recipient to try. It’s easy to get stuck in a routine of doing the same things day in and day out and with the start of a new year, it’s the ideal time to do something out of the ordinary! Things we included on our ‘adventure fortunes’ were:
- Have a picnic
- Cook an entire meal from scratch
- Grow a plant from seeds
- Write a love note
- Call your mother just to chat
- Go for a bike ride
- Drink 8 glasses of water
- Eat a vegetarian meal
- Draw a picture
- Build something with your hands
