In keeping with our French inspired Valentine’s projects, we’re showing you how to make these miniature floral bouquets to hand out to your sweethearts!
Flowers are ubiquitous when it comes to valentine’s day, but they are also a huge part of French culture. Handing out a full bouquet to each friend could get super pricey, really fast. So, we’ve come up with a sweet way to personalize a mini bouquet of flowers. The miniature size of these arrangements make the perfect display for a boudoir or desk.
Miniature Floral Bouquets for Valentine’s Day
Supplies:
Flowers, Black Cardstock, Scissors, Washi Tape, Hot Glue and Metallic Sharpie
Directions:
Step 1: Cut an 8.5 x 11 sheet of black card stock in half
Step 2: Roll the Card stock into a cone & glue shut.
Step 3: Trim Stem of flowers, so that stems do not extend much longer than the cardstock.
Step 4: Wrap a piece of washi tape around the stems to hold the bouquet in place.
Step 5: Place bouquet in floral cone & write recipients name with metallic marker.

I love the idea of using placemats this way! I am thinking they would make great accent pillows too. I sense a trip to the thrift store in my future….
