Hooray for Autumn! I have been waiting for the cooler days to come! I been slowing bringing out the fall decor and I decide to whip up this easy no sew Autumn garland to hang in my entry way.
Supplies:
1/4 yard of any type of canvas fabric
Brown acrylic paint or any color that matches your home
A form brush
Jute/ Twine
Foam Stamps
A hot glue gun
Plus, any additional added trim you want to add to your garland. In my case, I went with white pom pom fringe and a little yellow ribbon.
For the garland template, I simply free handed a triangle shape on a piece of cardstock and used it to cut out my canvas. Once I cut all my triangles out, it was time to paint. For easy clean up, I normally take a two cupcake liners and use that to hold my paint so when I am down, I can just throw it away. For the letters, I used a set of foam stamps I already had and applied a light coat of paint on top and stamped each triangle and let it dry. If you do not own any foam stamps, you could easily freehand your letters and it would be just as cute!
Once your letters have dried, it’s time to hot glue your garland together. I laid my letters upside down and used a single line of hotglue on the back and then laid my jute on top of it to hold it all together.
Once you are done gluing all your triangles, you are ready to embellish your garland and hang it up for all to see! I used a little yellow grosgrain ribbon on each end and finish it off with a little pom pom fringe. I love how this easy garland turned out and I ready to Welcome Fall into my home!
