I recently saw this tutorial floating around the internet about using food color to dye bamboo skewers and it got me thinking.  How could I jazz up standard white lolly sticks? Ah Ha, wahsi tape! Please don’t laugh at my cake pop making skills – I use a lot of sprinkles to cover up the imperfections. This Washi tape DIY is ideal for any party, wedding or event. It will add the perfect amount of FLAIR!

Supplies:

Washi Tape in your colors of choice We used Washi Tape from Pick Your Plum, where it is often discounted up to %70 off!
Lolly Pop sticks
Scissors
Ruler

Step 1 : Measure out washi tape to desired length and cut. Measuring before cutting ensures the stick are all consistent.

Step 2 : Place Lolly pop stick on washi tape length wise

Step 3: Wrap washi tape around lolly pop stick
