It’s officially football season, y’all! With football season comes many game day parties and delicious food. In order to celebrate appropriately, I created a football game day menu DIY based on a football playbook.

Football Game Day Menu DIY

Supplies:

A chalkboard (I purchased mine from Hobby Lobby, but you could easily paint a plank of wood with chalkboard paint)

A chalk-ink pen

Step 1: Shake your chalk in pen and press it against a piece of paper until the ink comes out.

Step 2: Begin writing on your board! I made the menu title in a bold font, which required drawing an outline of the letters then filling them in with the ink.

Step 3: Write out your menu, starting with appetizers and ending in dessert. I drew fun arrows connecting each course of the meal to resemble the various plays a coach would draw in a playbook.

Make your food, invite all of your football loving friends, and enjoy the game! The great part about having a chalkboard like this is that you can use it time and time again for various home activities.
