I’m so excited to share this blog post with you, as it is something near and dear to my heart. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Operation Shower on several occasions. If you aren’t familiar with this organization, let me fill you in. Operation Shower puts on baby showers for expecting moms whose spouses are deployed during their pregnancy. These events give expecting mothers a baby shower that they very likely never would have had. Often times these women are far away from their homes, families and friends (and they are pregnant). I CAN’T begin to imagine what that feels like. Operation Shower shares a few hours with these women to celebrate their strength. These women get the chance to meet other expecting moms and form a connection ( and hopefully develop friendships ) over something that otherwise might just be a really sad situation. Operation Shower is a non-profit and relies solely on volunteers and donations. So, when Razoo asked me to use their new platform to start a fundraiser – Operation Shower was my first thought!
Disclosure: I have partnered with Razoo for this post. While I have been compensated for my time and creative expertise, all statements are my own.
You can donate via my razoo fundraiser – or just share this with your friends and family if you aren’t able to donate monetarily.
Razoo is a platform that allows you to create a fundraiser for non-profits and any campaign that works toward social good. Here some ideas for other things you can use the platform for: Unpaid medical bills, community improvement programs, impoverished families ( really just about any good cause you can think of ).
