Like every other woman in the world, I love a good tea party. Who doesn’t love drinking tasty tea and eating sweet little sandwiches and desserts…you can’t beat it! However, during the summer months, hot tea isn’t necessarily the first thing you think of when you’re thirsty.
I love the idea of throwing a “Summertime Tea Party” and offering your guests different types of iced teas to sample. All you have to do is set up a cute table with pitchers of different flavors of tea, a few light snacks, and you’re ready to party! Here are some suggestions of drinks I like that will provide plenty of choices for your guests to try.
How to Host a Summertime Tea Party
One of my absolute favorite drinks in the summertime is an Arnold Palmer. Made by combining lemonade and iced tea, this drink is sweet and refreshing, and sure to be something you and your guests will enjoy!
What says summer more than strawberries? By mixing strawberries and iced tea, you have a drink that’s as tasty as it is colorful. Your guest will love sipping from a glass of this strawberry iced tea!
Peach tea is a popular drink that people often purchase, but when you see that it’s actually quite easy to make yourself, you’ll want to try it in your own home. Try it when the peaches are at their ripest in the middle of summer for the best flavor!
We all know how tasty Mint Iced Tea can be, and in the middle of the summertime heat, the cool mint flavor will be all the more refreshing!
So, the next time you feel like having some friends over, why not throw a Summertime Tea Party? Add some simple sandwiches and desserts, and you’ll have everything you need to spend a great afternoon in the sun!
