It’s Natalie visiting today from Katarina’s Paperie. I’m going to share a fun New Year’s Eve craft that is necessity for any party – confetti poppers.
One of my favorite things about New Year’s Eve is counting down to the New Year. I love celebrating the special moment of the clock turning to midnight with family and friends. Shouting out the countdown, watching the ball drop and throwing confetti are such fun ways to celebrate.
To help with the confetti throwing, I’ve created a set of New Year’s Eve Confetti Poppers. Combining a push up pop container and hand cut confetti this festive popper is sure to wow your guests and add a fun touch to any New Year’s Eve countdown party.
You Will Need:
gold, black and silver paper confetti
gold tissue paper
free printable New Year’s Eve labels
double sided tape or glue dots
scissors
1. Print and cut the free printable New Year’s Eve labels. Attach to the push up pop container using double sided tape or glue dots.
2. Fill the push up pop container about half way with confetti.
3. Cut a square from gold tissue paper to cover the top of the push up pop container. Trim around the edge to create a circle to seal the top of the container. Leave a small edge along the top to attach to the container. Attach the top with double sided tape (cut in half) or glue dots.
As you count down to midnight, hand the confetti poppers out to guests. At the shout of Happy New Year, launch the confetti popper and watch the confetti fly. Such a fun activity for everyone young and old alike. Have a Happy New Year!
