It is officially summer! With summer comes a multitude of fun parties. In order to jazz up the traditional way to serve cocktails, I crafted a DIY project to add some polka dots and sprinkles to your display. The best part of this DIY is that it is completely temporary. You can simply peel off the polka dots and toss the sprinkles, and your serving ware will be back to normal!
Polka Dot Martini Glass DIY
Supplies:
White serving tray
Martini glasses
Sprinkles
Artisan adhesive paper, found at Target
Scissors
Small circle punch
Step 1: Cut a small piece of the artisan adhesive paper.
Step 2: Using the circle punch, punch multiple circles to prepare to adhere to your glass.
Step 3: Peel off the paper backing so the adhesive side of the artisan paper is exposed, and place your circles on the base of your glass in the manner you think looks best.
Step 4: Now that you are done with your glass, it is time to have fun adding sprinkles to your serving tray! I was originally going to only use the light pink sprinkles, but decided to add in rainbow sprinkles for extra color.
Step 5: Starting at one corner of your tray, gently spread your sprinkles around the edge of the tray. Use your finger to push the sprinkles into a smooth line, and use a paper towel to clean up any stray sprinkles in the middle of the tray.
Step 6: Place your martini glasses on the tray, fill with a fun cocktail, and enjoy!
