You know that feeling when your husband or roommate forgets to let you know that you’ll be having house guests this evening and you’re working late and the house still needs to be cleaned. Yeah, we do too.  When there isn’t time to really prep for your guests, make cookies first. Semi-homeade cookies that is and your guests will never notice that you didn’t mop every room in the place or that you’ve stuffed half finished craft projects in the hall closet.

Pumpkin Spice Cookies

Ingredients:

Store bought sugar cookie mix

Corse sugar

pumpkin spice mix

Instructions:

Mix 2 tablespoons sugar with 1/2 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

Form small balls of pre made sugar cookie mix by rolling between palms, then gently press balls in sugar and pumpkin spice mixture. Bake according to sugar cookie packaging.
