The fourth of July holiday is very special to me as most of them have been spent on balmy summer nights with cocktails and dear friends. We celebrate the comfort of being in such a fortunate place.

I am currently working on adding tissue tassel garland to my shop and felt it appropriate to style a mini table with the 4th in mind.

 Tassel Garlands

All tissue paper items were created by me. I chose to create the tassel garland in Scarlet, Navy and Birch tissue paper. The tassels remind me of flags on a calm day, fireworks falling out of the sky, and picnics that I have attended on 4ths in the past.

I chose a rosé wine with a blueberry garnish to bring together cool colors and sweet flavors. The cocktail stirrers are reminiscent of palm fireworks on a summer night. I used fresh watermelon, pineapple, and cherries to bring healthy, mild treats to the table when hot temperatures make other sweets undesirable.
