The Flair Exchange – 2012 in pictures

2012 has been really good for The Flair Exchange as a business and me as an individual. I left my full time day job to pursue handmade decor as my primary source of income. I couldn’t be happier with the choice to do so. Being a business owner has its ups and downs, but soooo worth it. I have the freedom to set my schedule so that I am able to make vacations happen, work late hours or take a weekday off. This little dream turned reality wouldn’t be possible without you my customers! I’ve had the honor of working with many individuals and businesses this year. My products have traveled across the US and across the world. I’ve had the chance to work with planners and event stylists whom I’ve admired from my computer. I’ve built great friendships through this business and look forward to the new ones 2013 will bring.

I’ve got big plans for 2013, personal and professional. I’m working on building a method for sharing small business/e-commerce/seo tips. After working with Blog Fete, I’m more convinced that my passion is in the technical side of a healthy website and business. While I am no expert, I have learned over the years what works and what doesn’t and am itching to start a good conversation about these things.
