Yarn Covered Letter DIY .
I made these wrapped letters for a football viewing party and thought you all would love to see how I created them. While I made these in honor of University of South Florida, you can make them for virtually anything. You could create a cute married monogram, spell out babies first name, create fun kitchen art; the possibilities are endless! This tutorial makes the perfect home decor.
Supplies:
Cardboard letters from your local craft store. (I’ve also seen them on Pick your Plum)
Your choice colored yarn
Hot Glue Gun
Step 1: Cover edges of letters using single strands of yarn
Step 2: Trim excess length from edges of letters
Step 3: Wrap yarn tightly around letter starting from the top and working your way down to the bottom. *Some areas will need to be glued down to the letter. The corners in particular need to be secured by glue.
Step 4: Glue end of yarn to bottom of letter and Voila!
