In the Fall of 2010 I was asked to decorate a ‘Red Carpet’ themed homecoming dance with lots of gorgeous red poms. Fortunately I was asked to decorate again this year. The theme for 2011 was Fairly Tale Dreams, I interpreted this to be magical, sparkly, knight in shining armor. The challenge with decorating for a dance is the extremely large space. The dance was held in a gymnasium, yes the same one that hosts basketball games, wrestling matches and cheer leading practice.
The fourth of July holiday is very special to me as most of them have been spent on balmy summer nights with cocktails and dear friends. We celebrate the comfort of being in such a fortunate place.
